My New Game

Last weekend, I have gave myself a new dimension. I played Golf. Yeah, GOLF!!!! I remembered, I have lots of surmise of the abbreviation G.O.L.F. such as "Golongan Orang Lemah Fikiran", to show how much I hated golf.

So, after I've been asked thousand of times by my collegue, so I wanna give it a try. Still I haven't forgot this is Ramadhan, a fasting month.

Then, exactly 12 noon, me and my other 2 friends meet at a driving range in Damansara. Quite cheap, RM10 for 100 balls, but I knew places in Cyberjaya that charges you only RM7 for 100 balls.

First 10 shots, I only hit the grass and the balls goes like a hockey ball. Very straight forward below...

But, then they gave a few tips and after that, voilla!!! I hit the ball like a pro.
At the end, for my last few shots, I managed to get 150m distance. Quite impressive for a newbie..

Excited by new experience, i decided to give it another try, or maybe a serious try.
So, friends outside, if you want to join me, learn a bit of what golfing is all about and have the experience of playing golf, feel free to contact me. We can go together as newbies.

As the Malay proverb says,"tak kenal maka tak cinta"

Lesson of Life

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.
The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.

The Cancer is spreading

Man Utd 2 - o Chelsea

A new chapter in the remarkable recent history of Chelsea opened in controversial and inauspicious fashion at Old Trafford as Avram Grant's first game in charge of the club ended in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United.

Although the game seems to be quite bias but Chelsea is already "fucked-up"!! John Obi Mikel was harshly sent off for a foul on Patrice Evra, before Carlos Tevez gave United the lead in the third minute of first half injury time when only two minutes additional time had been signalled.
Then, to add insult to injury, Louis Saha won a dubious penalty in the last minute.

Didier Drogba who took Mourinho's exit from Stamford Bridge worse than any of his teamates has hinted that he maybe following teamates, Micheal Ballack to Real Madrid next season. Arjen Robben , a Ducthman winger has already left Stamford Bdrige for Santiago Bernabeu.

Last words from the Special One - " My feelings are simple. Chelsea was a small club with a small history, with frustration without Premier League titles, until we arrived here and won two titles."
" In my first year, we brought tears of joy because no one had seen Chelsea as English Champions before and that formed a big part of the history of the club"
"The future of Chelsea doesn't interest me now. Win, lose, play well, buy, sell - it doesn't mean absolutely anything to me"

Last word from me - "Fuck you Abramovich!!! Chelsea...you're fucked!!!

Al-Fatihah to Nurin Jazlin Jazimin

Finally, after more than a month went missing, Nurin Jazlin Jaziman, an 8 years old girl found dead in a sport bag near Old Klang Road. She was laid to rest at the Ibu Kota Muslim Cemetery in Taman Danau Kota on Friday.

My wife is 2 month pregnant and soon we will having a child of our own, but my mind clouded with questions. How I am going to ensure the safety of my child? Do I have to implant a GPRS detector to my child? Is Malaysia is not safe anymore?

Actually its our responsibility to make sure that our place is the safest place for our children to live and not depending only on the police service. Nowadays, I am sadden with our social scenario.. If we go 10 years back, anybody will know everybody in that particular place as long as they are neighbours. But what happens today?? Even me dont know the name of my neighbours myself. Thats because they aren't Malaysian..They are Filipinos..

That is another problem of our country. Lots of immigrants and they will do anything for a living as well as their sexual desires. For them, even an 8 years old girl can do!!!! What an animal they are!!! But then, I dont think animal will 'turn on' to another unmature species of their kind.

This is sick!!! And this got to stop!!! We must build back our "Rukun Tetangga" and make our society strong!!! Beware of immigrants. The reason they came are because of work and money. Malaysia have both. Our youngsters nowadays don't want to work as an constructions workers and they will laugh to whoever who did. When this became a trend, immigrant will take the chance and Malaysians are the stupid ones.

Mourinho Leaves Chelsea

This is the end of the road for "the Special One".
Manager Jose Mourinho has left the English Premier League club, a club statement has confirmed early Thursday morning.
Just minutes ago, a statement on the official Chelsea club website has confirmed that the club have parted company with Mourinho by mutual consent. The statement said: "Chelsea Football Club and Jose Mourinho have agreed to part company today (Thursday) by mutual consent."

What can I say, even The Special One get sacked..but I don't think this is a smart move from the owner, Roman Abramovich. I agreed that he is fucking rich, but money can't buy winning games. I am shocked and sad..I remembered in my last post i've wrote that Chelsea's draw with Rosenborg is totally unacceptable and I guess the words took its toll.

But still, this is far more unacceptable. It will bring unsettled situation in the dressing room. Some players may also leave alongside The Special One. Didier Drogba, Ricardo Calvarlho,Frank Lampard, John Terry, Frank Malouda and Solomon Kalou to be name a few. These are the Mourinho's minions that makes what Chelsea are about today. Not to mention, Micheal Ballack that will roll-out to be a Real Madrid player in January.

For me, Jose "The Special One" Mourinho is by far the best manager ever in Chelsea Football Club history or even in the world. But only gods knows what will happen next.

Chelsea's next match is against Premier League champions Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday. Its do or die...

ICE - In Case of Emergency

I get this idea through a forwarded email from a friend.

We all carry our mobile phones with names & numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family or friends. If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn't know who to call.

Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence this "ICE" (In Case of Emergency) Campaign. The concept of "ICE" is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name "ICE" ( In Case Of Emergency).

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which number to call. He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose.

In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialling the number you have stored as "ICE."

For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 And ICE3 etc. A great idea that will make a difference! Let's spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our Mobile phones today!

Plane Crash in Thailand

A plane has reportedly crashed while trying to land on the Phuket airport runway after being caught in strong winds. It is said that the pilot could not see the runway properly and the plane heavily hit the runway. The aircraft immediately broke into two pieces and caught fire. At least 88 people died and no Malaysian were reported passengers of that plane.
Its a tragic news to start a day..I felt sorry for their family..
From what I know, this plane was a budget airlines. Many budget airlines use older planes that have been leased or purchased after years of use by other airlines. The accident was likely to raise new questions about the safety of budget airlines in Southeast Asia.
Speaking of budget airline, we also have one our famous Air Asia with the motto "Now everyone can fly". We heard them bought a few of Airbus plane not too long ago. Now, they sponsors F1 team, Renault and you can see Air asia.com at every referee's shirt in English Premier League. Thats mean they are making big money.
But, are we sure of the safety? Yes, various of safety measure have been taken but shit happens sometimes. I hope Air Asia should be more careful after the crash of its competitor's plane. We dont want to hear nor see jokes in the paper "Air Asia - Now everybody can crash"

Tennis: Federer to face Sampras in Shah Alam

World number one tennis player Roger Federer will take on his predecessor Pete Sampras in an exhibition match on Nov 22 at the Malawati Stadium in Shah Alam. The clash between the two greats is part of the inaugural Merdeka Tennis Challenge which features the exhibition match and the US$150,000 Malaysian Open.

The Malaysian Open featuring men's singles and doubles events is held at the same venue from Nov 18-25.

The exhibition match is the second time the two players will meet after their only meeting in a professional match during the fourth round of the 2001 Wimbledon Championships.
Federer then upset his former idol 7-6 (9-7), 5-7, 6-4, 6-7 (7-2), 7-5 win.

Federer also took great delight in beating Sampras at the American player's home in Los Angeles in a friendly match during his build-up to the Pacific Life Open in March.

“To play against Pete is a dream come true. The only time I ever played him in a professional match was in my first Centre Court appearance at Wimbledon in that famous match which I won 7-5 in the fifth set,” said Federer in a recorded video statement.

“I was still very young and Pete was clearly reigning at that time. I am so excited to play Pete and I am really looking forward to visiting Malaysia for the first time,” added the Swiss.

Sampras is also looking forward to playing Federer again.

“Practising with Roger in March has given me confidence as I felt that I really could hold my own,” said Sampras in a telephone interview during the press conference to announce the Merdeka Tennis Challenge in Petaling Jaya yesterday.

“It will be two players who have similar temperament playing some great tennis for the sake of history. Both of us like to let our racquets do the talking.”

Sampras also believes that Federer would be able to break his record of 14 Grand Slam titles.

Federer picked up his 10th Grand Slam by winning the Australian Open in January and would be looking to add to that number at the French Open, which starts on Sunday.

Another exhibition match is being organised during the Merdeka Tennis Challenge but the players involved will be named at a later date by the organisers First Events Promotions Sdn Bhd.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Open would feature a qualifying draw as well as a 32-player main draw. There would be no qualifying tournament for the doubles and the main draw would feature 16 pairs.

The organisers will exercise the right to offer at least one wild card entry in the men's singles qualifiers and another in the doubles for Malaysian players.

This incident happend last week on the air....

Yasmin Yusof, a DJ on Radio 4 asked listeners on her radio program to call to answer trivia questions. The first caller to give the correct answer would get a prize from the sponsor.

She asked,"Can anyone out there tell me the household name of Sodium Chloride"

A caller who is a housewife called up eager to answer the question. Not knowing the answer to the question, she asked Yasmin for a clue.

"Something you put on your husbands eggs in the morning." she said.

The lady confidently said, "Talcum powder".

Why Singapore never won Miss Universe

One of the main reasons why in recent years the Singapore Government has always ensured that their MissUniverse representative were of tertiary level education or higher was because of the following incident which occurred not too many years ago.

It is the final round of the Miss Universe Pageant and the 3 finalists,Miss USA , Miss Malaysia and Miss Singapore are being asked ? simple questions:

MC: The first question is name me an electrical appliance starting with "L"

Miss USA : Lamp
Miss Malaysia: Light bulb
Miss Singapore: LADIO
Judge: No, no, Radio does not start with the letter "L"

MC: I am going to give you 3 more chances; Now, name me an animal starting with the letter "L"

MC: Your next chance. The name of a famous car that starts with "L"

MC: I am going to give you one last chance! Name me a fruit starting with the letter "L"
Miss USA : Lemon
Miss Malaysia: Lychee
Miss Singapore, with full of confidence, smiles and says:LIEWLIAN!!

This is not the end of the story, the Judge consulted the board of judges to determine if Miss Singapore should really be disqualified ; and they decided that since Miss Singapore was having so many problems with the letter "L", they decided to give her another chance.
